About JH Data Studio
Clear. Responsible. Actionable.
JH DataStudio focuses on AI competence, responsible AI usage, and practical decision-making in organizational contexts — with a strong emphasis on the requirements of the EU AI Act.
The goal is not to promote tools or automation for its own sake, but to help organizations understand where AI adds value, where it creates risk, and where human judgment remains essential.
About me
JH DataStudio was founded by Jacqueline Hardy, a data scientist and AI consultant with an international background in data science, analytics, AI systems, and professional training.
My work is driven by a simple observation:
AI is increasingly used in everyday work — often without sufficient understanding of its limitations, risks, and responsibilities.
With the EU AI Act, this gap is no longer just a technical issue.
It becomes an organizational and regulatory responsibility.
I work with organizations and professionals to build AI competence that goes beyond tool usage — focusing instead on:
- understanding how AI systems work at a conceptual level
- recognizing typical risks such as hallucinations, bias, and overreliance
- knowing when AI use is appropriate — and when it is not
- making decisions that are explainable, defensible, and aligned with legal and ethical expectations

What I do
My work spans three closely connected areas:
AI Competence & Responsible AI Training
I design and deliver trainings and workshops that help organizations meet the requirements of Article 4 of the EU AI Act in a practical, understandable, and defensible way.
These trainings are applicable across industries and roles and are designed to support sound judgment and responsible AI use — not tool mastery.
Data Science, Analytics & AI Systems
In addition to training, I work on data science and analytics projects, including dashboards, forecasting, machine-learning models, and internal AI systems such as RAG-based assistants.
This practical implementation work informs my training approach and ensures that concepts are grounded in real organizational constraints, not theory.
Education & Training Partnerships
I collaborate with education providers and institutions on courses, certificate programs, and extended learning formats in AI and data science.
These partnerships support longer-term capability building and contribute to the development of structured, scalable learning formats.
How I work
My work is guided by a few clear principles:
- No hype
AI is powerful, but limited. Both must be understood. - No black boxes
Systems, outputs, and decisions should be explainable and defensible. - Responsibility first
Legal, ethical, and organizational implications are part of the work — not an afterthought. - Practical relevance
Everything connects back to real decisions and daily work.
This approach is especially important in regulated environments — but it benefits any organization that wants to use AI seriously and sustainably.
Background
My background combines:
- hands-on work in data science and analytics
- development and evaluation of AI and GenAI systems
- teaching and training for professionals and organizations
- experience working across different industries and international contexts
This combination allows me to bridge the gap between technical possibilities and organizational reality.
The EDGE

What makes me different:
- Business, data & AI fluency
Translating strategic, legal, and organizational requirements into AI use that people can actually understand and apply. - Responsibility-first perspective
AI systems and outputs are treated as decision support — not decision makers — with clear awareness of limits, risks, and accountability. - Explainability over automation
Focus on clarity and defensibility instead of black-box solutions or blind optimization. - Practical implementation experience
Hands-on work with analytics, machine learning, and GenAI systems informs training with real-world constraints — not theory. - Global mindset
Fluent in English, German, and Hungarian, with experience working across international and cross-functional contexts.
